The Hunters' Association "Golub", founded in 1896 is active on the
hunting grounds "Ramski Rit", at 21,000 hectares with 18,000 hectares
rich in game. The Association, divided into 15 sections, 14 village
sections and the town section,has 450 members. Deer, wild boar,
rabbits, pheasants, partridges, waterfowls, wolves, foxes and jackals
can be caught on these grounds.

Every autumn huge flock of wild geese come to Stig fields, Ada
Cibuklija, and the Danube banks and stays till spring. These birds are
usually hunted at the end of a day when they return from fields to
water. This is a really extreme hobby as the best results are achieved
during bad weather;when it's windy,snowy and foggy... A couple of years
ago ,an international expedition counted 136,000 examples of 25
species. This, apart from the Danube Delta, is the second birds meeting
place.
